Mtre Pascale Pageau is the President, Founder and Joint Shareholder of Delegatus Legal Services Inc. She is an experienced civil and commercial litigator who manages an innovative and business-oriented law firm with over 20 lawyers. For seven years, Mtre Pageau worked in the civil and commercial litigation groups of two large Montreal law firms before founding Delegatus in 2005. She was able to achieve these professional successes, while having four children, all before the age of 40.
Mtre Pageau’s business acumen and her creativity have been recognized by both the business and legal communities. Since founding Delegatus in 2005, she has been named Young Professional of the Year by the Young Chamber of Commerce of Montreal (2006), Businesswoman of the Year by the Businesswomen of Quebec Network (2008), and Future Builder by the Les Affaires newspaper (in addition to the special Creativity award from this same competition) (2012). Mtre Pageau was also named a Key Player in Business by Première en Affaires Magazine and an Influential Woman of Tomorrow by the La Presse newspaper (2013). Finally, she received the Women of Merit award in the Entrepreneurial Category (2013) from the Women’s Y Foundation and was awarded as amongst the Top 100 Canada’s Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network (2013). Furthermore, Delegatus was ranked a top 10 Quebec regional law firm by Canadian Lawyer magazine (2012).
Mtre Pageau is often a guest speaker, covering a range of subjects, including work life balance, business development, changes in the legal services industry as well as on the innovative services offered by Delegatus. She has also been one of the guest speakers at the highly prestigious TEDxMontrealWomen event in December 2013.
Mtre Pageau is devoted to promoting women in the legal profession, whether by her involvement with various jurist associations or with businesswomen’s networks. She is an inspiring role model not only for women, but also for men.
